Why PrivatBank Clients Overpay for Cash Withdrawals from Cards
Social networks are actively discussing the commission for withdrawing money from ATMs. Some users noticed that the amounts can differ.
The bank explained that all fees are published on the official website. The commission cost depends on whether clients are withdrawing their own funds or credit ones. The commission for issuing credit funds is higher.
For example, with the 'Universal' credit card, you can use both your own and credit funds, with a limit that can reach 200,000 UAH.
The commission for withdrawing your own funds from such a card is 1% through PrivatBank ATMs and 2% through ATMs of foreign banks. Additionally, there is a commission for servicing inactive accounts amounting to 20 UAH per month, but no more than the balance in the account.
Commission for Withdrawing Credit Money and Other Details
The tariff for using credit funds at PrivatBank ATMs and foreign banks differs. The commission can be 4% of the amount of money and increase depending on their volume.
- from 1 to 100 UAH - 7 UAH;
- from 100.01 to 200 UAH - 12 UAH;
- from 200.01 to 300 UAH - 18 UAH;
- from 300.01 to 400 UAH - 24 UAH;
- from 400.01 to 500 UAH - 30 UAH;
- from 500.01 to 1,000 UAH - 47 UAH;
- over 1,000 UAH - 4% of the amount.
Moreover, the credit card allows using credit funds without overpayment during the grace period and making purchases both in Ukraine and abroad. There is also the option to pay by installments, withdraw cash via QR code, and make purchases through the mobile app.
