What the summer will be like in Ukraine: forecasters gave a detailed forecast
This summer, Ukrainians can expect warm weather with an average temperature 1-2 degrees above normal. This was reported by Vira Balabuha from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Institute, referring to world forecasts.
'Air temperature continues to rise. This will also be characteristic of this summer,' the expert noted.
June may bring cold air outbreaks in the north and east of Ukraine, but overall the month will be warm with an average temperature of 18-23 degrees. July will be the hottest month, and warmer than normal August and July are expected as well. However, July will be the hottest month with active thunderstorm activity. In August, elevated temperatures are also expected, but a possible lack of precipitation, particularly in the left bank, may lead to a dry period. Increased thunderstorm activity is also anticipated during the summer period, with possible heavy rains in certain areas. Meteorologists emphasize that none of the summer months will be record hot, but recommend preparing for increased thunderstorm activity and rains. Overall, the summer season in Ukraine promises to be hot and rainy, so it is advisable to take necessary measures to protect against adverse weather conditions.
