Actor Bohdanovych spoke about how the former head of the Frank Theater wronged him.

People's Artist of Ukraine, laureate of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize and actor of theater and cinema Oleksiy Bohdanovych spoke about his relationship with the former head of the Frank Theater Mykhailo Zakharievych. In an interview with 'Gromadske', he stated that their relationship was far from friendly.
Well, we were never friends... He wronged me some Time ago...
One of the events the actor recalled concerns the props of the play 'The Living Corpse', for which he received the theatrical award 'Pectoral'.
There was a play 'The Living Corpse'. I received 'Pectoral' for it, the play was complex, but stylish and unconventional. But suddenly the props of this play were put outside - in the rain, in the snow. Of course, they disappeared. The play had to be removed. And I had a question: why did the props end up outside?
Bohdanovych suggested that perhaps Zakharievych did not have evil intentions, but he personally took this situation to heart.
Maybe Zakharievych didn’t even think about anything bad, but I took it personally. This story could just be my fantasies. But the play wasn't ordinary; it became the best play of the year. I, as the lead actor, and director Roman Markholia received the 'Pectoral'.
The actor also shared that a few years ago he lost the election for the position of head of the theater, stating all the problems that arose during Zakharievych's management. As a result, Mykhailo Zakharievych headed the theater for 30 years.
I prepared, wrote a program, but perhaps I acted inappropriately by talking about all the problems in the theater during his leadership. As a result, he was elected, and I lost. Now I even thank God that I didn’t become part of this system.
The famous actor also called the play 'Konotop Witch' a little hen that lays the success of the theater. He noted that commercial success is an important element of productions.
Oleksiy Bohdanovych also talked about his wife, which was a first.
