The Russian singer Alla Pugacheva released two new songs about the war, which sparked discussions among Russians. The first song 'Kiss of War' is focused on the events of World War II, and the second song 'Mama' is dedicated to mothers who have lost sons on the front lines. Although the songs do not directly mention the war in Ukraine, some Russians believe that they are related to it.
On March 29, the songs were published online but were later removed before the official release scheduled for April 11.
Alla Pugacheva left Russia after the start of the invasion of Russian occupiers in Ukraine. Recently, reports surfaced that she is returning, but she denied this in an ironic manner. The singer also expressed her outrage over the missile strike on the children's hospital 'Okhmatdyt' in Kyiv, which Russian aggressors carried out in July 2024.
