God gave this man everything, except for reason... Poet Kryshchenko named the singer who was once pride but has become a disgrace.

90-year-old Ukrainian poet-songwriter Vadym Kryshchenko gave a great interview to Glavkom, where he talked about his life, collaboration with colleagues, and relationships with cultural figures. In this interview, he mentioned Pavlo Mrezhuk, who became known for his pro-Russian statements.
God gave this man everything... But somehow, he was not given the reason, the ability to use his talent
Kryshchenko talked about how he supported Mrezhuk on his way to the big stage and backed him up in front of others. However, Mrezhuk turned out to be problematic: he had issues with alcohol and bad behavior. Despite everything, Kryshchenko recalls that Mrezhuk was once pride, but now has gradually become a disgrace.
Moreover, Mrezhuk fell under the influence of the anti-Ukrainian composer Volodymyr Bystryakov. In May 2022, Mrezhuk stated that Ukrainians are to blame for the war in Donbas. He also avoids communication with Kryshchenko.
Kryshchenko also shared his thoughts on marrying at an older age, believing it is not always advisable.
All these thoughts and memories Kryshchenko expressed before his jubilee concert, which will take place on April 12 at the Palace of 'Ukraine'.
