The communication and EW specialist explained how drones became more 'resilient'.

Mavic-type drones previously frequently failed under the influence of electronic warfare (EW), but now with the new firmware, they can avoid this impact. According to specialist Sergey Beskrestnov, the new firmware allows drones to ascend, where the operator can catch and retrieve them. This has increased the lifespan of drones, which can now last even months.
Beskrestnov explained that earlier, Mavic drones often degraded due to engine fatigue, but this problem has now been resolved. However, a new nuance has emerged - the opponent can now also use Mavics to destroy enemy drones. Russian forces receive new drones even on the day of their loss.
Beskrestnov noted that Russians have improved their drones, but there are currently no global changes. He also mentioned that when Russians notice the impact of Ukrainian EW on their drones, they quickly modify them so they can return and perform tasks autonomously.
Recently, Russians have been using many drones to deplete air defense forces in Kyiv, which could be a sign of a future missile attack on the capital. The use of 'Herber' drones has also been recorded for confusing Ukrainian air defense forces.
