Formation of the Justice Coalition: 40 countries discuss the creation of a special tribunal.

The Dutch Foreign Minister Kaspar Veldkamp stated that negotiations are ongoing with many countries about the establishment of a special tribunal. He reported this in an interview with Ukrinform.
'We cannot allow what happened in Ukraine to go unpunished. We are leading international efforts to ensure justice. Prosecutors from different countries are working at the International Center for the Prosecution of the Crime of Aggression in The Hague, gathering evidence regarding this war. We are currently negotiating with about forty countries to create a special tribunal that will be able to use this evidence to hold the Russian military and political leadership accountable,' he said.
Veldkamp reminded that since April 2020, Ukrainians can submit claims for damages caused by the war to the Register of Damages for Ukraine in The Hague. The Netherlands, along with Ukraine, is leading the process of reviewing these claims to seek compensation from Russia for the damages incurred.
'This requires a lot of work and Time, but we are trying to do everything possible to ensure justice and hold accountable those responsible for crimes against Ukraine,' Veldkamp emphasized.
According to him, the International Criminal Court plays a significant role in holding individual Russians accountable for crimes committed in Ukraine, including Putin, Shoigu, and Gerasimov.
The minister also noted that it has been proposed to place the special tribunal regarding the crime of aggression against Ukraine in The Hague, provided that it has the support of other states.
