Forward of the Ukrainian futsal national team Yevheniy Zhuk became the top scorer of the Euro-2026 qualifiers. This is reported by «Glavkom» referring to the Futsal Association of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian forward Zhuk scored 9 goals in 6 qualification matches for Euro-2026, including a poker in the match against Cyprus.

The Ukrainian team has already completed its journey in the main round of Euro-2026 qualifiers.

The Ukrainian futsal team secured its place in the final tournament of Euro-2026 after defeating Cyprus 11:1 in the fifth match of the main round.

In the final tournament, which will take place in Latvia and Lithuania from January 20 to February 7, the Ukrainian team will enter with 6 wins in 6 matches.

The draw for the final tournament will take place on October 24. Euro-2026 will feature 16 participants: Latvia and Lithuania as hosts, winners of 10 groups of the main qualifying round, and four teams that will win in the playoffs involving the best second-placed teams.

The main qualifying round for Euro-2026 will conclude on April 16. Playoff matches will take place from September 15 to 24.
