During a performance by Coldplay in Seoul, an interesting situation occurred. The band's leader, Chris Martin, connected with a Russian fan and performed an improvised song for him right in the middle of the concert. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referencing a video recording of the concert. At the beginning of the performance, Chris noticed a guy with pink hair in the crowd. He asked where he was from and showed interest in communicating. The guy pointed out on his phone screen that he was from Russia. After this, Chris Martin immediately composed a short song for his 'Russian brother': 'Welcome, my beautiful brother! I know it was hard to get here. One day we will play in Russia, even though it's far away. We just need Putin's permission.'The audience reacted emotionally to this performance: applause and shouts. A big screen showed the face of a fan crying while covering his face with his hands. It is worth noting that Chris Martin had previously expressed support for Ukraine and never showed a desire to perform in Russia. For example, in the summer of 2022, he performed in Brussels with Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, where they performed the song 'Embrace' under a blue-and-yellow ribbon symbolizing solidarity with Ukraine. It should also be noted that the song by the Russian band Ay Yola, which supports the Russian war against Ukraine, topped the Ukrainian charts on various music platforms, including Apple Music.
