Intelligence Hackers Attacked the Main Bank of the Russian Federation.


Ukrainian hackers carried out a cyberattack on the Bank of Russia and other financial institutions of the Russian Federation. It is reported that the Central Bank of Russia and the banks "Zenit", Gazprombank were victims of this attack. Internet service providers were also attacked. This was reported by sources in the Main Intelligence Directorate.
The Bank of Russia is the main bank that regulates monetary policy in the country and has special powers. In addition, Russian users also cannot use the online services of the "Zenit" bank and Gazprombank.
The attack on the financial institutions of the Russian Federation caused disruptions in the work of the Central Bank and problems with internet connectivity among telecommunications service providers. The attack continues and is now targeting other banks and providers.
Previously, it was reported that Ukrainian hackers attacked the banking sector of Russia, affecting brokerage applications and ATMs. This cyberattack began on July 23 and targeted the largest Russian banks, including "Alfa Bank", "SberBank", "Raiffeisen Bank" and others.
