When electronic referrals for military medical commissions will become available: explanations from the Ministry of Defense.

The Ministry of Defense is implementing a reform of military medical commissions in the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Starting from January this year, electronic referrals for military medical commissions will be available in the 'Reserv+' application. This was announced by Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov.
Umerov emphasized that the first step in the reform was creating a regulatory framework for issuing electronic referrals for military medical commissions for military personnel.
The goal of the reform is to create a modern and transparent system of military medical commissions, which will significantly reduce corruption risks and bureaucratic obstacles. The digitization of the process for obtaining military medical commissions will make it more convenient for everyone. The Minister of Defense continues to work on new regulatory acts to simplify the procedure for both military personnel and servicemen.
In addition, military medical commissions will now consider the decisions of expert teams regarding the assessment of a person's everyday functioning. Starting January 1, the MSEC examination has been replaced. The new provisions correspond to modern standards and needs.
Furthermore, Ukraine plans to introduce a new reform of military medical commissions, which is expected to eliminate the need to visit territorial recruitment centers.
According to the Ministry of Defense order No. 402, by February 4, 2025, men aged 18-60, whose status was determined as 'limited suitability', must undergo a repeated military medical commission. Individual fitness assessment has been practically abolished, which is an innovation in the document.
