The Coordination Headquarters reported where Russia keeps Ukrainian prisoners
During the presentation of the Inferno project, a representative of the Coordination Headquarters, Oleg Hushchin, spoke about where exactly Ukrainian prisoners are located in Russia. According to him, they can be found both on the territory of the Russian Federation and in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and in Belarus.
“Ukrainian prisoners are deliberately scattered across the entire territory of the Russian Federation - from the European part to the Far East. This is a traditional policy of the Russian Federation - the inadmissibility of concentrating Ukrainians in one place, and therefore the prisoners are broken into small groups and placed in various places of unfreedom,”
he emphasized.

Blocking international monitors and correspondence of prisoners

It was also noted that Russia complicates the work of international monitors and does not allow prisoners to correspond with their relatives. This complicates the communication between prisoners and their loved ones. The aggressor country is trying to complicate the situation for Ukrainian military personnel.

Recently, more than a thousand Ukrainians returned to Ukraine, among whom were military personnel and civilians. They received support in the form of vacation payments, monetary assistance, and legal aid to resolve legal issues.

During the presentation of the Inferno project, it was revealed where exactly Ukrainian prisoners are in Russia, and it was also noted the difficulties in communication between them and their relatives due to the blocking of international monitors and correspondence.
