Front line situation as of April 28. Summary of the General Staff.


80 aerial strikes, 112 guided aerial bombs, 1103 kamikaze drone strikes, and 4296 artillery shellings were launched against the enemy. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On April 28, there were 133 combat engagements, during which the defense forces attempted to stop the advance of Russian invaders and exhaust their combat potential.
Latest news from the front
The main offensive actions of the enemy took place in the Pokrovsk direction, where 52 assault and offensive actions occurred in the areas of many settlements. In the areas of Vovchansk, Vovchansky Khutory, Zapadny and Mala Shapkivka, there were 8 enemy assaults, and two combat engagements are ongoing.
Information from other directions:
- Kharkiv direction: 8 enemy assault actions, two combat engagements are ongoing;
- Kupyansk direction: 6 attempts to push our units back, two combat engagements are ongoing;
- Lyman direction: 16 attacks by the enemy, seven combat engagements are ongoing;
- Seversk direction: successful stopping of three enemy attacks, another three combat engagements are ongoing;
- Kramatorsk direction: seven attempts to advance have been stopped, two combat engagements are ongoing;
- Toretsk direction: 13 attacks by the enemy, four combat engagements are ongoing;
- Novopavlivsk direction: stopping of 21 enemy attacks, as well as airstrikes on some settlements;
- Huliaypole direction: the settlement of Huliaypole underwent an aerial strike;
- Kursk direction: 14 combat engagements, many artillery shellings and airstrikes.
Don't forget that the conflict in eastern Ukraine has been ongoing for 1160 days.
