Front line as of April 30. Summary of the General Staff.


According to the information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on April 30, there were 177 combat clashes. The defense forces are focusing their efforts on disrupting the plans of the Russian invaders for an offensive and exhausting their combat potential.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy carried out the most offensive actions. Our forces managed to stop two enemy attacks in the area of Vovchansk.
The enemy conducted six assaults on our defenders' positions in the Kupiansk direction, but Ukrainian defenders managed to stop five attacks; one clash is ongoing.
The Russian troops attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders 35 times in the Lyman direction. Ten clashes remain unresolved.
The enemy is actively storming the positions of our units in the Siversk direction near Verkhnyokamianske. The battle is ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, five combat clashes have been recorded in the areas of Bila Hora, Andriivka, and Chasiv Yar; one battle is still ongoing.
The Russians attacked the positions of the defense forces in the Toretsk direction nine times. Currently, one battle is taking place.
In the Pokrovsk direction, invading units attempted to break through our defense 81 times in the areas of various settlements. Currently, 12 clashes are ongoing.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders 16 times, 12 attacks were stopped, and four battles are still ongoing.
In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy launched airstrikes on Huliaipole.
In the Kursk direction, the defense forces of Ukraine repelled 21 attacks from the Russian invaders; two clashes are ongoing. Additionally, 12 airstrikes and 185 artillery shellings were carried out on the positions of our troops and populated areas.
The war in Ukraine has been ongoing for 1162 days.
