Lubinets showed Russian prisoners before the exchange: what they are saying.

Information about the conditions of detention of prisoners of war by Ukrainians was revealed by the prisoners themselves. According to Ukrainian ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets, he released a video of the interrogation of Russians before the exchange.
"The recording shows how my colleague from the system of security and defense agencies Yuriy Kovbasa and his team are questioning the Russians about the conditions of detention, what they had to endure on the Ukrainian side," Lubinets stated.
The ombudsman also emphasized that Ukraine adheres to the Geneva Conventions and takes into account the wishes of prisoners of war.
"The Russians demanded constant contact, as well as frequent personal communication and the exchange of letters and packages," Lubinets said.
The ombudsman hopes that other parties to the conflict will consider these proposals.
According to the Russians, they had no problems with medical care and food, and no one mistreated them. Some even expressed their gratitude.
It is recalled that on February 5, Ukraine released 150 soldiers from captivity. Representatives from various military units, police officers, and border guards returned.
Earlier, Volodymyr Tkachenko from the Vinnytsia region, who was considered missing, also returned.
