Cars, products, and plastics: Humanitarian aid worth hundreds of millions of hryvnias did not reach the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has identified possible violations regarding the allocation of humanitarian aid amounting to over 170 million hryvnias, according to the Ministry of Defense's website. Internal audits jointly with the State Customs Service were carried out from March to July 2024.
According to the ministry, through customs control for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 424 vehicles and almost 477 tons of goods were processed without indicating the value, as well as over 6 tons of food products and plastic granules. However, the Ministry of Defense was unable to confirm that these shipments were received by military units.
"We highly appreciate the promptness of allowing military and humanitarian aid for the Ukrainian Armed Forces during martial law. Our goal is to ensure that every element of aid, from thermal imagers to vehicles, provided by volunteers and international partners, reaches our defenders on the front line," noted the Ministry of Defense.
The Ministry of Defense sent relevant notifications to law enforcement agencies to assess the legality of the actions of officials who may be involved in illegal enrichment, misappropriation of property, and abuse of office.
Currently, an investigation is ongoing regarding the identified facts.
