Ukrainian mountaineer died on the front
Sports master Taras Tsushko gave his life defending Ukraine on the front. He was a well-known and strong mountaineer, champion of Ukraine and the CIS in rock, technical and winter climbing.
Taras Tushko made a number of complicated first ascents on the walls of various peaks, and also worked as a climbing instructor at training camps in the Caucasus and Pamir-Alai mountains.
He was known for his friendliness and reliability to other climbers. The loss of Taras Tsushko was a great blow to Odesa mountaineering. The Federation of Mountaineering and Climbing of Ukraine expressed condolences to the family of the fallen climber.
Volleyball player Andriy Romanov has died
Another casualty on the front is volleyball player Andriy Romanov from Kropyvnytskyi. He was a dedicated volunteer and joined the Defense Forces during the war.
Andriy was a combat medic, and his death shocked his friends and the sports club 'Krop'. He left behind a wife and a small son.
