Advance near Zaporizhzhia: National Guard Brigade Commander speaks about occupiers' preparations.

The Russian army is preparing for an offensive in the Zaporizhzhia region
The occupying army of the Russian Federation plans to conduct a large-scale offensive in the Zaporizhzhia region. According to the commander of the third operational brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, Oleksiy Khilchenko, this is confirmed by 'various actions regarding the movement and preparation' of Russian units. He also notes that the Russian Federation is trying to covertly relocate its forces and means.
They are moving their forces very secretly, but we still understand where they are transferring which units... There is accumulation. Reconnaissance units are summarizing this information.
Combat operations are already taking place in the Zaporizhzhia direction, but without the use of equipment, Khilchenko reports.
The Russian army is not using significant forces. They are using personnel without equipment, sometimes using motorcycles, buggies. The enemy is conducting its offensive actions daily during daylight hours.
Ukrainian intelligence believes that Russia is preparing for an assault on the city of Zaporizhzhia. Therefore, fortifications are already being built in case of an attack by Russian troops. However, some Ukrainian commanders believe that the enemy is not yet ready for a large-scale offensive in this direction.
The Cabinet of Ministers has allocated 1.3 billion hryvnias for the construction of fortifications in the Zaporizhzhia region, said the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
Dozens of contracts have been signed for the construction of fortifications, but the number of contracts does not mean the number of defensive structures or kilometers of anti-tank trenches.
