Occupants launched over 80 drones at Ukraine at night: there are destructions and casualties.


On the night of January 4, Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with 81 drones. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Invading drones of the 'Shahed' type and imitators of various types flew from different regions of Russia.
«By 09:00, the downing of 34 strike UAVs of the Shahed type and drones of other types was confirmed in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, and Mykolaiv regions», - it is stated in the message.
The attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups, and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As a result of the active counteraction of the Defense Forces, 47 imitation drones were lost from enemy locations, which did not cause any negative consequences.
However, the destroyed drones caused damage in Chernihiv and Sumy regions, destroying private residential houses. Assistance is being provided to the victims.

Over the past day, there were 138 combat clashes. Ukrainian defenders are actively resisting the enemy's attempts to expand their sphere of influence, inflicting fire damage on them.
The situation at the frontlines
Pokrovsk, Kurakhove, and Vremivka directions continue to remain hot spots of combat - there the enemy is actively concentrating its offensive forces.
