UN to Provide Additional Assistance to Ukrainians: Who Can Receive.

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs will allocate 20 million dollars to assist Ukrainian organizations that are evacuating citizens.
This was announced by the Ministry of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.
This decision was made at a meeting on supporting the evacuated population, attended by representatives of international and public organizations.
UN Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator in Ukraine, Matthias Schmale, emphasized the importance of supporting local organizations working with vulnerable population groups.
Matthias Schmale: "Special attention is being given to issues of accessibility and arranging temporary accommodation for elderly and less mobile internally displaced persons."
Currently, organizations with experience in this field that need additional funding to expand their activities or implement projects can apply.
Humanitarian organizations will continue to support evacuated Ukrainians, focusing particularly on the needs of the most vulnerable population groups, reported the UN Humanitarian Coordinator.
