Pakistan boasts of 'victory' of Chinese J-10C over French Rafale.

The Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif stated that four Indian Rafale fighters were disabled by the electronic means of Pakistani forces near the Line of Control in the disputed region of Kashmir and were forced to make an emergency landing in Srinagar. Pakistan utilized Chinese Chengdu J-10C fighters to disrupt the radar and communication of the Indian Rafale. This sparked discussions on the ability of Chinese military technology to compete with western systems.
This incident occurred amidst heightened tensions between India and Pakistan following a terrorist attack in Kashmir, for which India blamed Pakistan. The Chinese J-10C fighters received by Pakistan are recognized as an achievement of the Chinese aviation industry and raise questions about the Rafale's reputation as an invulnerable platform. However, without confirmation, this statement remains speculative, and India's silence may indicate either a strategic decision to avoid escalation or an acknowledgment of operational failure.
This incident underscores the importance of electronic warfare in modern conflicts and the fact that control over the electromagnetic spectrum is becoming just as crucial as firepower.
