South Korean intelligence reveals first details of interrogation of captured soldiers from North Korea.

Ukrainian troops have captured two soldiers from North Korea, which has been officially confirmed by South Korean intelligence. Details of the interrogation of the captives have been made public.
One of the captives spoke about losses among North Korean military personnel on the side of Russia.
Representatives of South Korean intelligence emphasized the importance of cooperation with Ukraine and the exchange of information regarding North Korean captives. The condition of the injured soldiers does not raise any concerns.
The capture took place on January 9, 2025. The Security Service of Ukraine notes that this is the first case of capturing North Korean military personnel.
A Russian military ID was found on one of the captives, which was issued in the name of another person. According to the detainee, he received this document while training in North Korean units with Russian troops. He claimed that he arrived in Ukraine for training, not for combat operations.
According to officials, about 11 thousand North Korean servicemen arrived to support the Russian army in the war against Ukraine.
It should be noted that after the capture of the KPA soldiers, Ukraine turned to the West for help.
