Guide for released servicemen from captivity

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in conjunction with the Central Military-Civil Cooperation Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has developed a guide for released servicemen.

The information in the guide is divided into four main sections: psychological assistance, document restoration, receiving payments, and treatment. This information will help former captives obtain step-by-step algorithms for restoring monetary payments and documents, renewing social guarantees, and receiving legal, medical, and psychological services.

'We have developed visual cards that will help the released captives receive step-by-step instructions during reintegration activities. Detailed and understandable information explains how to undergo health checks and treatment, restore payments, and obtain social support. The guide also contains contacts of volunteer and public organizations that provide legal, medical, and psychological assistance. The brochure will also be useful for escort service representatives who constantly accompany former captives on their way to returning to normal life.'

The printed version of the guide will be distributed among servicemen immediately after their release from captivity.

The Government of Ukraine continues to provide assistance to its citizens who have undergone the most significant trials. The developed guide is an important step in supporting and rehabilitating servicemen.
