Termination of gas transit from the Russian Federation: Popenko talks about the new schedule in the European energy market.

The gas transit agreement between Russia and Ukraine has been terminated
This agreement is significant for the gas market. Russian Gazprom is left with only one pipeline, the Turkish Stream, for gas supplies, and control over supplies is diminishing. Americans may buy the remaining assets of the Nord Stream and restore supplies through it. Additionally, foreign investors could purchase the Ukrainian gas transmission system.
The situation for Europe is more complicated
Although Europe buys more expensive gas, they gain diversification of suppliers. However, this requires filling gas storage for stable supplies. Over Time, Europe may benefit from this situation, but it depends on their actions.
Victory of Americans and Norwegians in the gas war
Americans and Norwegians have become important gas suppliers due to the development of new energy sources. This emphasizes the importance of diversification and the search for new energy sources.
