Russia struck Izium with a missile: there are dead and dozens injured.


Today, February 4, Russian occupation forces committed another war crime, launching a missile strike on the center of Izium in the Kharkiv region.
As a result of the attack, five civilians were killed in the city, and more than three dozen people were injured of varying severity.
According to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleksii Syniehubov, an enemy ballistic missile partially destroyed the building of the city council. Among the injured who are currently in hospital, there is a 15-year-old girl with shrapnel wounds.
'In Izium, 24 people were hospitalized. Three people are in the operating room, and doctors are providing all necessary assistance,' the head of the Regional Military Administration reported.
Currently, there are known to be 5 dead, all of whom were civilians.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and called for increased pressure on the aggressor country.
'With this cruelty, it is impossible to reconcile. Pressure must be applied to Russia, using as much force as possible — the force of weapons, the force of sanctions, the force of diplomacy — to stop the terror and protect lives,' emphasized the head of state.
