Russia changes military strategy: focusing attacks on Sumy region - ISW.

The Russian army changes its military strategy
The American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) warns of changes in the Russian army's strategy. According to experts, the Russian command is redeploying units from the Donetsk region to the borders of the Sumy region, which may indicate preparations for an offensive in the northern direction.
ISW's analysis shows that Vladimir Putin's demand for a 'buffer zone' along the border between Ukraine and Russia should be seen as an attempt by the Kremlin to expand its territorial positions, disregarding the limited capabilities of Russia as an aggressor nation.
Ukrainian military analyst Kostyantyn Mashovets reported the redeployment of units from the 752nd Motorized Rifle Regiment and the 200th Motorized Rifle Brigade to strengthen Russian forces in the northern Sumy region.
Experts believe that the Russian command may have more success in advancing in the northern part of the Sumy region compared to battles near Chasiv Yar. The situation remains under investigation by analysts who are closely monitoring further changes in the deployment of Russian troops.
In light of these new movements of the Russian army, it is worth noting the rising tension on the Ukrainian front, where there is a conflict between Russian forces and the Ukrainian army.
