Russian occupiers systematically execute prisoners of war and use chemical weapons – ISW.

Russian troops continue to commit war crimes, including the execution of Ukrainian prisoners and the use of chemical weapons. This is reported by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW)
In the Institute's report, it is noted that on October 18, Russian troops shot two Ukrainian prisoners of war near Selydove. Recently, Russian occupiers have also increased the number of executions in violation of the Geneva Convention. The US State Department also reported Russia's use of chloropicrin and riot control agents.
Analysts note that these crimes indicate a low level of discipline of Russian forces and the inaction of their commanders. There is no evidence of Russian military being held accountable.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada for Human Rights are calling on the international community to respond to these executions and violations of international law.
The UN Independent International Commission also found evidence of torture by Russia of Ukrainian civilians and prisoners of war.
