New fraudsters are hunting again: be careful with personal data and money
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has warned citizens about new fraudulent schemes on the internet. Malefactors promise assistance in getting in line for a fee, but actually risk causing harm.
Electronic registration is free, so there is no point in giving your data to intermediaries for money. Protect yourself from financial losses and leakage of personal information
The Ministry is actively working to stop these schemes and is cooperating with law enforcement. It is recommended to trust only official sources and register for the queue independently – this is the safest way.
Popular queue registration services can be free, so avoid communicating with suspicious intermediaries to prevent financial problems or loss of confidential data. All citizens have the right to free consular services, so there is no need to pay for usual services of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or to provide personal data to unknown persons.Read also
