You will need:

  • plum tomatoes — 5 pcs.;
  • medium cucumbers — 2 pcs.;
  • sweet pepper — 1 pc.;
  • red onion — 1 small;
  • walnuts — 70 g;
  • garlic — 3 cloves;
  • cilantro — 1 bunch;
  • wine vinegar — 2 tsp.;
  • water — 100 ml;
  • salt — to taste;
  • ground pepper — to taste.

Preparation method

Cut the tomatoes, cucumbers, and pepper into medium pieces and place them in a salad bowl. Add thinly sliced red onion and finely chopped cilantro, leaving some greens for garnish.

Crush the walnuts with a rolling pin or knife. Grate the garlic on a fine grater. Mix the nuts, garlic, ground pepper, wine vinegar, and water — this will be a rich dressing with a deep walnut aroma.

Add the dressing to the vegetables, salt to taste, and mix everything well. Before serving, sprinkle with leftover nuts and cilantro. Serve the salad immediately — it is best enjoyed fresh.
