According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the Ukrainian defense forces are advancing in the area of Chasiv Yar. This is confirmed by geolocation materials published on April 10. Ukrainian troops have advanced along Central Street in the western part of the city. However, Russian troops have also been recorded advancing in the same direction. They have moved along Pryvokzalna Street in the western part of Chasiv Yar.
On April 9 and 10, Russian occupying forces carried out attacks near Chasiv Yar and in the areas of Kurdyumivka, Bila Hora, and Stupochky.
It has also been reported that Russian forces advanced 4 km in the Toretsk direction. However, they have likely not managed to secure their positions after the offensive.
