Syrskyi made a statement about the pace of mobilization.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine prohibited the transfer of highly qualified specialists to the infantry
Oleksandr Syrskyi, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stated that it is necessary to meet the needs of the army and prohibited the transfer of highly qualified specialists from the Air Forces to the infantry. He emphasized that these specialists are particularly valuable and their experience cannot be replaced. However, he also acknowledged that there is a need for personnel on the front and this task will be addressed.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are taking measures to provide and maintain, but within reasonable limits, Syrskyi noted. The headquarters have conducted calculations and committed not to allow the transfer of highly qualified specialists to the infantry and to ensure an adequate number of personnel in mechanized brigades.
Throughout 2024, Ukraine mobilized about 200 thousand recruits, but the army still lacks manpower. General mobilization lasts until February 7, 2025, and from November 1, 2024, the training of mobilized personnel in training centers became more intensive and the training program expanded.
