Journalist Butusov joined the National Guard

According to the 'Glavkom' portal, the famous military journalist Yuriy Butusov has joined the 13th brigade of the National Guard 'Khartiya' as a shooter. Butusov himself confirmed this information on social media.

In his statement, he noted that despite his physical limitations, he is ready to engage in combat. Butusov also expressed respect for the 'Khartiya' brigade and emphasized that many of his friends are already serving in this unit.

«The 'Khartiya' brigade builds an environment of technologies, operational procedures, and combat algorithms that create an advantage over the enemy not in quantity of personnel and equipment, but in the quality of management and organization. I believe that this scaling of quality organization and management is our only advantage in the war and the only possible way to victory,» Butusov stated.

It also became known that several other prominent Ukrainian public figures, including writer Serhiy Zhadan and historian Vakhtang Kipiani, have joined this brigade. This indicates the willingness of civil society to contribute to the country's defense.

Previously, Butusov left the position of chief editor at 'Tsenzor.net' and announced his call to the National Guard. In this unit, he plans to participate in combat actions and maintain friendships with other warriors.
