Trump calls Zelensky 'stubborn' and expresses disappointment in Putin's actions.

US President Donald Trump expressed his disappointment in Vladimir Putin's actions during negotiations and noted Vladimir Zelensky as a 'very stubborn' leader. This was said during a press briefing for journalists at the White House.

Trump also noted that both stubborn politicians are Putin and Zelensky. He did not want to comment on whether he considers Putin a 'good or bad guy', but shared his impressions of the strikes on Kyiv during the negotiations.

'I had to see things that surprised me greatly. The missiles that hit cities like Kyiv during negotiations that were possibly close to completion... I saw things that surprised me. And I don't like being surprised. Therefore, I am very disappointed,' Trump said.

He also emphasized that he is leaving behind the illusion that Elon Musk is stepping down as head of DOGE, and stressed that Musk will still remain his advisor and friend.

'I would compare it to something like Buddhism. It’s a way of life. It permeates government and I am sure that over Time we will see a trillion dollars saved and a reduction in wastefulness,' Musk said.

It is also worth noting that Musk had a visible bruise on his face from a hit by his son, which became an interesting detail of this ceremony.
