The mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk, Ruslan Marchinkiv, reported that a verdict will be issued for the scandalous behavior of a 50-year-old displaced person on public transport. The woman did not pay for her ride, started insulting and threatening passengers, using profanity, and called them 'Banderites'. She also expressed pro-Russian views and accused local residents of destroying her home.

This incident sparked widespread public reaction after videos of the conflict quickly spread online. Marchinkiv appealed to the police, which has launched an investigation. It was found that the offender was already known to law enforcement and had even faced forced medical measures by court order.

On February 10, the mayor announced that the police had initiated a criminal proceeding for violating citizens' equality, which could lead to a fine, restriction of liberty, or imprisonment for this woman. Marchinkiv reminded that one must be held accountable for words and actions.
