Ukraine is facing a problem with the increase in cases of unlawful interference with the legitimate activities of military units. The Operational Command 'West' has called on citizens for support. According to 'Glavkom', since the beginning of the year there have been 12 incidents involving aggression, bodily harm to servicemen, and damage to property.
"Interference with the legal actions of military formations, especially causing bodily harm or damage to military property, constitutes criminal offenses," the command stated in its message.The command noted that such actions violate the Criminal Code of Ukraine and mentioned the responsibility before the law. Special attention was paid to those who aggressively bypass the soldiers who defended the country at the front and are now serving in territorial centers.
Call to Citizens
The Operational Command 'West' urges citizens not to tolerate hostile manifestations and to fight against obstruction of mobilization measures. Such actions contribute to the division of the nation and hostile propaganda.- Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code - interference with the legal activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- Article 345 of the Criminal Code - violence or threats against servicemen;
- Article 194 of the Criminal Code - intentional destruction or damage to property.
It should be noted that similar incidents are occurring in various regions of Ukraine, including attacks on servicemen and attempts to obstruct mobilization.
