Russia's strike on the training ground in Dnipropetrovsk region. Syrskyi made a statement.


There was an enemy attack yesterday in the zone of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The incident is currently under investigation, and casualties and injuries are being quickly addressed. The head of the training center for units and the commander of the military unit have been relieved of their duties pending the investigation. This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi.
In the Commander-in-Chief's statement, it is asserted that the attack occurred as a result of a strike from the Iskander-M ballistic missile with cluster munitions. A commission is working at the scene to clarify all the circumstances of the tragedy. Commanders of military units have been issued orders to verify compliance with the requirements of the General Command and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Oleksandr Syrskyi also emphasized the need to assess the execution of training tasks, the placement of personnel, and hold meetings and gatherings in open areas. These activities are temporarily prohibited.
The Commander-in-Chief expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased and assured that the Russian aggressor will not go unpunished for this crime.
The Commander of the Ground Forces, Mykhailo Drapatiy, confirmed the strike on the training ground in Dnipropetrovsk region. The State Bureau of Investigation has initiated a criminal proceeding regarding this incident.
The number of fatalities at the training ground remains unknown at this Time.
