The government of Ukraine has decided to change the rules for reserving employees of communal services that serve critical infrastructure facilities. According to this new regulation, enterprises can now reserve up to 75% of their employees instead of the previous 50%. This applies to specialists involved in heating, water supply, and waste removal. In addition, the requirements for the salary level of such employees have been lowered. Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development Konstantin Kovalchuk emphasized that without experienced specialists, it becomes very difficult to maintain networks in proper condition. The new resolution will help reduce the staff shortage in this area and ensure the uninterrupted operation of enterprises in a state of war. Thus, the change in booking rules is an important step in ensuring the reliable operation of critical facilities and reducing staff shortages.
