Carrot prices in Ukraine fell by 10% this week compared to the previous week. Currently, farmers are selling carrots at a price of 25-32 hryvnias per kilogram. The price drop was a result of an increase in the supply of low-quality carrots due to product spoilage. The market is also actively selling carrots from storage, which has also contributed to the price drop.
Ukrainian farmers are selling carrots at a price of 25-32 hryvnias per kilogram, which is 10% less than last week.
Experts emphasize that despite the price drop, carrots can now be bought three times more expensive than a year ago. It is predicted that prices will continue to fall due to low buyer activity.
