Russian troops in Syria suffer losses: Putin changes the commander of the group.

Russian General Sergey Kiselev has been dismissed from the position of commander of the Russian troops in Syria. This was reported by the press service of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine. According to intelligence data, Kiselev, who previously failed during the invasion of Ukraine, proved to be incompetent in his position in Syria. Therefore, he was dismissed and a new commander was appointed - General Alexander Chayka, who had previously commanded Russian troops in Syria.
In addition, Admiral Alexander Moiseev, commander of the Russian Navy, has appeared at the military base in Tartus.
It is worth noting that Ukrainian intelligence reports significant losses of Russian troops in Syria. Some units are surrounded, and hundreds of Russians are missing. Nevertheless, President Putin promised Assad further military assistance.
