Servicemen now have priority for online marriage through Diia: details.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation prioritizes the online marriage registration for servicemen
The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, along with the Ministry of Defense, gives preference to servicemen in choosing the date and Time for online marriage registration.
How it works:
- Servicemen open the Army+ application
- Go to Services
- Select Online Marriage
After this, Diia will automatically open, where the system will show available dates considering the priority and provide a separate appointment for online marriage registration.
Then fill out the application, choose whether you want to change your last name after marriage, specify where to deliver the marriage certificate, and confirm everything with Diia.Signature. Just a few clicks and the application will go for verification to the Civil Registry Office.
On the day of the marriage registration, you just need to follow the link to Diia for the online ceremony, where a Digital Civil Registry Office employee will be waiting for you. The wedding process lasts up to 30 minutes. You only need a smartphone and internet access. Diia will support you with everything else. The marriage record will also later appear in the application.
Recently, over 4,000 couples have officially married online, 19,000 have submitted marriage applications, and over 2 million Ukrainians have made proposals through Diia.
