The lead actor in the film that won at the European festival told how he became an actor without professional education.


In the Ukrainian film "You Are the Cosmos," the main role of the loner truck driver Andriy was played by actor Volodymyr Kravchuk, who is now defending Ukraine at the front. In an interview with "Glavkom," he mentioned that he began acting on stage without professional education.
Kravchuk stated that he does not have formal acting education and gains his experience from fellow stage actors.
I don't have formal acting education. I gained all my experience from fellow stage actors. Starting with Oleksii Dorychevsky in the "Wild Theatre." I also had the opportunity to work with Oleksandr Yarema in the same Wild Theatre. With Andriy Isaenko in the Drama and Comedy Theatre on the left bank of the Dnipro. I am also grateful to Dmytro Oliinyk (Drama and Comedy Theatre on the left bank of the Dnipro). I would also like to name Vitaliy Saliy. All these people guided me. They helped my acting to progress
Let us remind you that Volodymyr Kravchuk was born in Kamianets-Podilskyi, Khmelnytskyi region. He worked as an actor in the "Mamahohotala" studio, and since 2019 – in the drama and comedy theatre on the left bank of the capital. He was the hero of the films "Neighbor," "Amber Cops."
The actor initially enrolled in territorial defense, and now the 40-year-old Volodymyr is defending his homeland at the front.
