128th Brigade fighter 'Lapa' escaped from captivity
Vasyl, who served in the 128th Brigade since the beginning of the war, was captured by two enemies but managed to escape successfully. During captivity, his weapon was taken from him and his hands were tied, but thanks to a brave move with a grenade, the fighter was able to flee from captivity.
“Our positions are in a trench behind the village destroyed by shelling, about one and a half kilometers from the Russians. I set up my trench with grenades. The Russians took my weapon and tied my hands,” Vasyl said.
Using his military experience and ingenuity, the fighter managed to safely reach his own, demonstrating impressively successful action. He survived due to his courage and skills, showing a high level of endurance in extreme conditions.
Upon returning to his own, Vasyl demonstrated not only bravery and ingenuity but also dedication to his brigade and military service, which helped him overcome challenging trials.Read also
