Everton's goalkeeper Jordan Pickford received help in the match against Manchester City thanks to strategic notes on a water bottle. This was reported by Tribuna.com.
After Vitaliy Mykolenko's foul, which led to a penalty in the second half at the Etihad Stadium, Haaland was responsible for scoring, but he was thwarted by Pickford, who saved the Norwegian striker's shot.
It later turned out that Pickford's water bottle contained detailed information about Manchester City's penalty takers, including Haaland, Phil Foden, Jack Grealish, Jeremy Doku, and Mateo Kovacic, with charts highlighting their favorite spots for taking penalties.
This is not the first Time Pickford has used this tactic - he had similar notes during Euro 2024, which played a role in his penalty save from Switzerland's Manuel Akanji.
This saved ball proved crucial as Everton earned an important point at the Etihad, with the match ending in a 1-1 draw.
