As of the morning of Sunday, January 5, 2025, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine updated the losses of Russian occupiers.
Losses of Russia in the war as of January 5, 2025
In the war with Ukraine, as of January 5, the Russian Federation has lost:
- personnel - about 796490 (+1730) individuals,
- tanks - 9686 (+7) units,
- armored combat vehicles - 20119 (+26) units,
- artillery systems - 21603 (+25) units,
- multiple rocket launchers - 1257 (+0) units,
- anti-aircraft systems - 1032 (+0) units,
- aircraft - 369 (+0) units,
- helicopters - 331 (+0) units,
- tactical-level UAVs - 21447 (+91),
- cruise missiles - 3006 (+0),
- ships / boats - 28 (+0) units,
- submarines - 1 (+0) unit,
- automotive and fuel trucks - 32940 (+97) units,
- special equipment - 3677 (+2).
Activity of the occupiers' fleet as of January 5
- In the Black Sea, there is one enemy ship, which is a carrier of 'Kalibr' cruise missiles, missiles are absent;
- In the Sea of Azov, there are no enemy ships;
- In the Mediterranean Sea, there are seven enemy ships, of which two are carriers of 'Kalibr' cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 22 missiles.
Over the day, in the interests of the Russian Federation, there have been:
- to the Black Sea - 0 vessels;
- to the Sea of Azov - 0 vessels.
Currently, the 1047th day of full-scale war in Ukraine is ongoing.
