According to the information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of the morning of May 6, 2025, new losses of Russian invaders have been recorded.
Russia's losses in the war
Throughout the war, Russian forces have suffered the following losses:
- personnel - approximately 959500 (+1430) individuals,
- tanks - 10766 (+3) units,
- armored combat vehicles - 22416 (+5) units,
- artillery systems - 27431 (+61) units,
- multiple launch rocket systems - 1377 (+1) units,
- air defense systems - 1155 (+0) units,
- aircraft - 372 (+0) units,
- helicopters - 335 (+0) units,
- operational-tactical UAVs - 35142 (+145),
- cruise missiles - 3196 (+0),
- ships / boats - 28 (+0) units,
- submarines - 1 (+0) unit,
- automotive equipment and fuel tankers - 47353 (+103) units,
- special equipment - 3873 (+3).
Activity of the invader's fleet
- No enemy ships have been recorded in the Black Sea;
- No enemy ships are present in the Sea of Azov;
- Three enemy ships were registered in the Mediterranean Sea, one of which can launch up to eight Kalibr cruise missiles.
During the day, in the interests of the Russian Federation, the following vessels passed through the Kerch Strait:
- to the Black Sea - 13 vessels, of which 7 are heading towards the Bosporus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov - 4 vessels, 2 of which continued toward the Bosporus Strait.
It should be noted that the full-scale war in Ukraine has been ongoing for 1168 days.
