Information about the losses of Russian occupiers on the territory of Ukraine has been updated by the General Staff of the Armed Forces as of the morning of Wednesday, May 7, 2025.
Russia's losses in the war as of May 7, 2025
According to the Russian Federation, the following losses have been recorded in combat actions against Ukraine:
- personnel - about 960770 (+1270) people,
- tanks - 10780 (+14) units,
- armored combat vehicles - 22419 (+3) units,
- artillery systems - 27502 (+71) units,
- MRLS - 1378 (+0) units,
- air defense systems - 1155 (+0) units,
- aircraft - 372 (+0) units,
- helicopters - 335 (+0) units,
- operational-tactical UAVs - 35266 (+124),
- cruise missiles - 3197 (+1),
- ships/boats - 28 (+0) units,
- submarines - 1 (+0) units,
- automotive equipment and tank trucks - 47484 (+131) units,
- special equipment - 3873 (+0).
Activity of the occupiers' fleet as of May 7
- No enemy ships are present in the Black Sea;
- No enemy ships are present in the Sea of Azov;
- In the Mediterranean Sea, there are three enemy ships, one of which is a carrier of cruise missiles 'Caliber' with a total launch of up to eight missiles.
During the day, the following vessels passed through the Kerch Strait for military purposes with the support of the Russian Federation:
- to the Black Sea - 13 vessels, of which seven continued towards the Bosphorus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov - six vessels, of which three continued from the Bosphorus Strait.
It is reminded that the full-scale war in Ukraine is currently on its 1169th day.
The clarified report on the losses of Russian troops and the activity of their fleet in various directions provides a more complete picture of the situation in the region and clarifies the course of hostilities.
