According to updated information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian occupiers have suffered significant losses as of November 9, 2024.
Russian losses in the war as of November 9, 2024
As of November 9, Russia has lost:
- approximately 707,540 military personnel (+1,660),
- 9238 tanks (+5),
- 18,697 armored fighting vehicles (+36),
- 1245 artillery systems (+0),
- 1244 rocket artillery systems (+1),
- 996 air defense systems (+0),
- 369 aircraft (+0),
- 329 helicopters (+0),
- 18,575 operational-tactical level UAVs (+49),
- 2634 cruise missiles (+3),
- 28 ships / boats (+0),
- 1 submarine (+0),
- 28,561 units of automotive equipment and tankers (+66),
- 3604 units of special equipment (+2).
Data are still being clarified.
Occupant fleet activity as of November 8
- Black Sea: 1 enemy ship equipped with "Kalibr" cruise missiles and capable of launching up to 4 missiles simultaneously.
- Azov Sea: no enemy ships.
- Mediterranean Sea: 1 enemy ship equipped with "Kalibr" cruise missiles and capable of launching up to 8 missiles simultaneously.
Over the past day, for the benefit of Russia, the following passed through the Kerch Strait:
- 2 vessels to the Black Sea, one of which continues to move towards the Bosphorus;
- 8 vessels to the Azov Sea, of which 2 were moving from the Bosphorus.
Russia continues to violate the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea 1974 (SOLAS) by turning off automatic identification systems (AIS).
The full-scale war in Ukraine has now lasted 982 days.
