Zelensky met with the Japanese Foreign Minister: what they talked about.


The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, met with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, Takeshi Iwaya.
Zelensky reported this on his Telegram channel.
This meeting is significant as Japan chose Ukraine as the first country for an official visit by its minister after forming a new government.
Zelensky expressed gratitude to the Japanese people and government for their support of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The President also expressed gratitude for the financial and humanitarian assistance, including a new support package for Ukraine's energy sector.
Separately, the decision of the G7 was noted, under which Japan allocated 3 billion dollars to Ukraine. These funds are part of a 50 billion dollar loan package, which will be paid off using income from frozen Russian assets.
Earlier, Zelensky also stated about the stability of Ukraine and the support for the warriors.
