The Naval Forces reported that Russian helicopters have been destroyed using Magura V5 drones, which has led to a decrease in the number of occupant flights.
Spokesman of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmytro Pletenchuk, said that after the destruction of the helicopters, the number of enemy aviation sorties decreased. However, the occupants are still forced to use helicopters to combat drones.
'This is their main task - patrolling, detecting, and destroying our sea drones. They have not given up this practice. Besides the fact that they have no choice, they never fully understand the situation on the first attempt,' Pletenchuk said during a telethon.
The spokesman noted that Russia continues to dominate the airspace near Crimea.
'Therefore, overall, the situation remains stable, but I hope that it will change in the future regarding the use of aviation in the Black Sea area. This is really a problem for us. The Russians continue to dominate the airspace near Crimea and the eastern part of the Black Sea, including tactical aviation,' Pletenchuk emphasized.
