“Forever 42. You left so early. Beloved husband, loyal friend, always ready to help, cheerful, a bit of a romantic, dreamed, enjoyed life, loved to travel. A true patriot, loved Ukraine and fought for its freedom. You will always be in my heart. Your will and spirit made me strong. I will try to live for both of us, no matter how hard it is. Heroes do not die!”, wrote his wife Elena.
Andriy Buchak used the nickname 'Andriy Luhansky' on social media, and in the army, his call sign was 'Luhansk'. He became the 93rd journalist killed due to Russian aggression.
